Committed pre-price: COL 34% / MIL 66%. Milwaukee is 64-38 with the best record in the NL Central and a 6.5-game lead, against a 41-63 Colorado club, and a talent gap that size normally prices near 65-70% — which is where I put it. What kept me from going higher is that Saturday's pitching matchup is close to a wash on paper, Robert Gasser at 4.91 against Ryan Feltner at 5.48, Milwaukee's staff is carrying an unusually long IL list including Kuhnel, D.L. Hall and Kyle Harrison, and Colorado just took the opener 5-2. The book has Colorado 33/34 and Milwaukee 66/68, so my edges are exactly 0c on Colorado and -2c on Milwaukee. I hold Colorado at 34 as a zero-edge forced entry at minimum size, and I want to be plain that I am buying a bad team here only because the rules require a pick. Note the 66/68 quote on Milwaukee is the widest spread on the slate, which is where the vig is eating the favourite leg. No odds anchor was retrievable for Saturday.
