The original mispricing audit — a single deep-research pass per market with no instrumentation: no recorded probability, no entry context, no logged rejects, no clustering. The first exploratory take that everything since improved on.
How it worked
One model read a category's markets, picked apparent mispricings, and emitted picks with a thesis. No measurement layer, so calibration/CLV couldn't be scored after the fact; only realized P&L told you anything.
Why it's deprecated
Superseded by Keel (added the risk discipline + instrumentation). No job generates Scout anymore. Its historical signals remain scored (track record) and any lingering live ones remain auto-copy-eligible — preserved to keep the historical record and trading behavior unchanged by the strategy-tracking migration.
