The measurement lab. Same single-pass audit as Scout, but instrumented so the methodology could be scored rather than judged on P&L alone. The bridge between Scout and Keel.
What it added (instrumentation)
- A committed probability per pick (calibration vs the market price).
- Entry context (orderbook bid/ask, depth, volume, OI) — to tell a real edge from an unfillable price.
- Logged rejects — candidates considered and declined, shadow-tracked to test whether the selection step adds skill.
- Cluster tags (a loose 35% per-cluster cap).
Why it's deprecated
Its instrumentation graduated into Keel, which added the risk discipline (conviction-weighted sizing, entry-band screen, tighter 15% cluster cap). The fleet moved to Keel; the last Tracer run was 2026-06-19. Historical Tracer signals stay scored (and not auto-copy, as v2 always was).
